macOS: Paste a password

Hi Why on a Windows-based machine is it possible to paste a password into the authenticator and on an Apple Mac it is not? I have multiple accounts which need authorisation from time to time and the problem for me is when asked for credentials during the authentication phase with Microsoft you can paste a password! This function works with other authenticators and Microsoft. Please enable pasting passwords into the mac application?
